Re: shadows casting

What Raul really demonstrates well, is that the original picture by Sherlock Holmes is perfectly correct with the sun as a light source far away. Since it is at a great distance, the angle of the light is easily wide enough to shine on the base, and on the ship's main hull. This in itself is perfect...

Re: WIP section

The WIP section is a good idea, but the problem is that the forums are a bit.... quiet at the moment. So if too many sections are added, posts could be too spread out. You'd get one or two threads active in every section at the most. Or do you guys think it'd still be better? I can add the section i...

Re: WIP USS - Voyager Bridge

Nice work! Very detailed and easily recognized.

Starting with the roof is a good idea. If you start with the floor and you get a week of rain, all is ruined! ;)

Hahahaha, if the gallery had a preference, it'd let your pictures on without problem :).

I've just tested an upload for 500kb and it works... Not sure why it doesn't accept your picture. You can email it to me if you wish, and I'll try to upload it, maybe it has problems with some files.

Re: Star Trek XI

I agree with the lens flare issue; it's just a bit too much. Like Enzolima, I think they make the scene appear bigger and more intense, but at some stage you cross a line and the effect kills itself. The camera shake.... It's a thing in movies at the moment. Man, for example, I loved the new Battles...

Re: Can't login into the gallery

Weird..... I'm going to investigate. It's hard to trace the problem since it's working fine for me, making it hard to troubleshoot. I'm going to work on it!

Re: Saladin Class Scout/Destroyer and Type 7 Shuttlecraft

Well, I'm here but the moderators aren't doing much (haven't done much really since appointing them). Behind the screens, I'm upgrading the site to allow easier uploading. It's slow going since there is a *lot* going on for me right now. I haven't forgotten, but have little time which I think is why...

Re: Star Trek XI

Well, at work we organised a group to go see it. Unfortunately I can't since I'm gonna be working myself. But other than that, I haven't heard or seen a thing around here. They seem to be releasing it really quietly which can't be good for visitor numbers! Let's see what it's like, I'm definitely go...

Re: Spammer - just ignore

I wish it was just a 'him.' Unfortunately this is at least the 10th but they are bots that automatically register and post these messages. I'm trying to work on some extra defense on the registration screen that will stop them, hopefully I can find something effective. I've tried banning by IP range...

It's been deleted :). The user and IP is banned, as you say it was most likely a bot.

Re: Lacuna class

Hi!

Thanks for posting this here. The idea is that the mesh moderators pick this up to upload it, but at the moment that's not working very well. It's not working at all actually.

I hope to change this in the future! Please hang on....

What is this section for -- please read this before posting

The Mesh moderators maintain the mesh database in the STMC. In other words, they add and remove downloads from this site. What can you do in this forum? - If you have a mesh to upload, please create a topic for it in this forum. - If you know of a mesh somewhere out there that isn't yet for download...
