That's great! Same about the nacelles because they needed a lot of work. I didn't like the origionals because they have a lot of errors and i added a lot of smoothing. But go with what work and i'll figure it out later.

How very strange. Because when i imported it everything was ok. The last thing i can think about is a coördinate difference between the max versions. This is really mindboggeling. For some reason i can't get it right too. Another solution would be to just take the parts with the callsign and import ...

You learn every day. I'm not really good with textures and such but i'm willing to keep trying. BTW i did nothing with the textures in the mesh so it must be a conversion problem. Lol.....not. That's odd try to select everything in max the go to hierachy and select affect pivot only. Then center to pivot. Then export.

not all the textures come out right but mine looks like this in bryce

The callsign is backed into the geometry on the origional. I spent a lot of time getting a lot of errors out of the mesh. The new cllsign is also geometry not a texture. The whole mesh is 1.109.876 polygons. Tell me in what format you would like to have it. I'm using max 2012 x64. I can revert to 20...

I have been working on Paul Trenkler's Sov class for a while now but i'm not quite finished. I can't get the patch deform right for the markings. The best i can do now is :

I would use the bitmaps as a guide to model real geometry and hullplates. But it all depends on what you will use it for.
