Hello. I've updated the Fem Trekz facebook page with as much information as I currently have about the sale of Xtranormal's intellectual property.

The legality of using the State Plus toolset has has now been resolved. I don't know if anyone in the future might be interested in making their own show using these components besides myself and Butch (Star Trekz Empire), but the best chance of that would be if there were more assets, interior sets in particular. If this goes to kickstarter I would like the energy to be spent towards fleshing this out as a construction-kit and not just to facilitate the needs of my show.

I see the last update here was almost two years ago now. So I guess this isn't going to be completed. :(

None of the good things I was hoping to see happen as a result of Xtranormal dying and its IP passing onto new owners ever took place. The Axanar lawsuit also discouraged me from the idea of revisiting this fan-film project, as I eventually felt that the only way to really do it justice was to crowdfund. So I had to face reality and officially abandon the project (which I had renamed Star Trek: Earhart in preparation for a reboot).

That said, if Raul ever goes back and finishes the shuttle and the Earhart on his own and put it up for download I might pick it up again at some future time, but in the meantime I'm transitioning some of the character types that were developed here into a new original IP that doesn't have the CBS/Paramount baggage. I still help Butch out with Star Trekz Empire whenever he asks, but he uses existing Bridge Commander models.

Thank you, Raul, for your generous time.

*EDIT* I posted this only a few days before Justin Lin and JJ intervened to stop the Axanar lawsuit. If new guidelines are issued for Trek fan-films then maybe I will get back to this some day, depending on what those terms are.

I also feel a lot of frustration right now.

I am engaged in an architectural 3D modeling project and this work will take a long time.

And I would suggest the following alternative:

Giving you all the files related to the project, and find someone able to add more details and give proper conclusion.

[ I am following the dictatorial behavior of Paramount about Axanar and other fan films.
But nothing prevents you to create an animation as a part of your creative portfolio. ]

That's what I can do now.
I can only apologize.

Please, see more details in PM.
