Are you in troubles with the native max chamfer? I know it works in a strange way sometimes, but you can manage this if you know a better way for chamfering. ;) I found an excelent tutorial other day. Gimme a little time, and you post the url. I just need to take a time for finding it in my favorites. :D ;)

I´m still searching that url (I had it saved, dammit!!!!). In the meantime, maybe it can help you a bit: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/quad-chamfer ;)

No, no tests made by me, but the review for this one http://www.mariussilaghi.com/qchamfer.htm sounds good: http://www.polycount.com/forum/archive/ ... 85550.html

This one looks like a different plugin: http://www.vg2max.spb.ru/EdgeChEx.htm, and it has a demo available. ;)

I think quad chamfer is the better one. Unfortunaly all examples are simple figures like squares. I need it to be able to chamfer much more complex shapes. I think i'll try quadchamfer.

Thanks for your thoughts bud.

Cheers

Got it, and although it comes up with better chamfering in most cases it still has some object that can't be chamfered right.
