What program are you using? I can optimize for various programs.

Hi bro!

I can provide you 3ds, obj, fbx... and even a basic lightwave conversion. I own a old, and still good, copy of Deep Exploration 6.5.
I think it can read all the meshes you have listed.

Just gimme a few days. ;)

Just as an aside, I'd be thrilled to see my Starfleet Museum appear in other formats. Whoever takes on the project, PLEASE feel free to clean up the model as it was the first I ever made and I suspect there are any number of faults with it!!

Thanks guys!

Ok, here it goes the first try: http://www.4shared.com/rar/EiZKdTgs/PASTEUR-CONV.html
In this rar file, you have:

- fbx
- obj (not the default max export, but one more complex)
- 3ds
- lwo (a basic one done with the help of Deep Exploration)

Let me know which works better for you, so I'll use the same procedure to the next conversion. ;)

How's the other two coming along? I've been busy with my DS9 render and haven't checked in awhile. The Olympic came out good, I just have to retexturing it.

I knew you have been busy. 8)
Well, I must have some free time soon, so, the next conversions can be done between the next friday and sunday.
Which format worked better for you?

Generally, I'm not one to necro the living daylights out of threads, but I'm actually looking for the Olympic class ship in any format that Poser will like. I tried clicking on the link, but the file is no longer there...I was hoping that someone might be able to help me. It's the last ship that I need.

I know it's been awhile since I read this thread but I do have the Olympic class that was converted for me. Will Poser read obj files? If so, let me know.

BTW, on a side note, I noticed Knightrider added some new meshes, can someone convert those for Lightwave. It seems a lot of good meshes are always in max format.
