Reflection in blender?

Reflection in blender?

Does anyone know how to make a material reflect its environment in blender??

its easy
in the material window go to the mirror/transparency tab

then click the ray mirror button
and then the raymir slider is for the level of reflectability which is between 0-1 where 0 is none and 1 is alot

great, ty.

im trying to build a city in blender. and it needs to be rendered out and done before next friday, and i know squat about blender. i tried some of the tutorials on blender, but if there are any hidden tutorials that are REALLY REALLY basic, please tell me.
