Scabbard Class Carrier, just released at SFM

Moderators.
For the past four or so months I have been working on a Post-Nemesis carrier. I have finally completed it and it has been uploaded to Scifi-meshes.com. The admins there have approved it and it can now be downloaded.

The ship actually came out of another project. An interior set, which right now consists of a bridge, a conference room, 2 ready rooms, a tactical version of stellar cartography, a basic shuttlebay, and a sickbay. I decided to add exterior to the set. I tried the Galaxy, Soveriegn, Titan, Darkstar, and the Excalibur. No luck with any of them. So I started making my own ship, the Scabbard. It is 915 meters long (to the Soveriegns 600-odd meters.

The ship is exported to OBJ, as that is the only format that my 3D app has, which is lossless. Textures are JPG and BMP, and all of them are to be flat mapped.

I have borrowed, with their consent, two meshes from Rashid and Palko.
---Rashid has let me use the engineering section from his Galaxy.
---Palko has let me use his Soveriegn nacelles.

We can replace aircraft, we can't replace the pilot.

Hi!

Thanks for the message. I've checked the SFM forums -- looks like nice work!

The STMC is a bit .... slow at the moment. I think you've noticed that :). Things are slowly moving in the background and this is why this forum will be kept! The mission is, that in the end it'll all be online!

Sorry about the slow-go!
