Need Photon Torpedo

Hello Everyone, First, I am just loving this site. Great job to all the modelers out there. I am in desperate need of a model/mesh of a photon torpedo. I am working on several fanfilms (which I will post when done), and the only thing I can't find is a photon model. I am terrible at making models, every atempt is a failure. Please, can anyone help. I'm not even looking for any thing fancy... a generic shape and color would do. One last thing... I need the file in one of these formats - lwo, cob or 3ds (Not MAX). thanks again

Chainsaw. I am actually looking for a torpedo as in when it's fired. you know the, the ball with the rendrils. not in is pre-fired state think the link you sent.

Aha, eh why model it doesnt your program support lensflares??

I don't know what that is. I am using bryce 7. I really don't know much about these animation programs. I've been experimenting with the program but most of it is far beyond my comprehension.

I guess I'll keep trying. I was just hoping to find a simple pre-made model. nothing fancy... just something i can quickly use.

Bryce 7, nice. Works a little different then other programs. No lens flare effects in that program unless u use a external plugin. But there is a way, look at his video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MW7lt_qEN7M

It is not for a photon torpedo, but maybe the effect will also work on an image of a photon torpedo. Let me know if it works. If not i'll try a model for you. but with the effect in this video your rendertime will decrease massively. Like I said before, I'm not to concerned about it being perfect, I just need something easy to use.

the only thing I don't like is that it is 2d, so it does lack the movement and pulsing of a torpedo... but I think this might work!

Thats a cool looking model. I'm surprised you could come up with something so fast. I wasn't able to download it though. In the meantime, I have been using a simple 2d version, which looks quite good, but is a pain to use in bryce! Thanx again for all your help... those links you sent me were really helpful.
