I don't know what it is, Paul's original Sovereign didn't have this component drift, so I'm not understanding why your modification does.
In any case, I appreciate the effort but like I said I can't use the OBJ. Look at the difference between the two. The OBJ's saucer texture loads very differently than the 3DS, but the 3DS one is the correct one; the OBJ UV mapping isn't even close to broadcast-quality.
We've got to figure out a way to fix this problem. I don't really know Max that well though, so my usefulness is limited. Do me a favor, upload the original Max 2012 scene and I'll see what I can do with it.
