Re: WIP USS - Voyager Bridge
Yeah they should really keep the modellers in mind for these things. Now who comes up with a not-exactly-square rounded-edged screen?

Re: Star Trek XI
Yeah I liked that; it still gives the bridge that classic look, even though it's a more modern bridge than the Enterprise-E
. What I like about the classic era too, is the fact that many people walk around. This is missing a bit in later Trek.

Re: WIP planet scene
I like the surrealistic look of Enzolima's second picture. It's very original and pleasing to look at, especially because it *is* what we'd call unrealistic and surprising.

Re: shadows casting
What Raul really demonstrates well, is that the original picture by Sherlock Holmes is perfectly correct with the sun as a light source far away. Since it is at a great distance, the angle of the light is easily wide enough to shine on the base, and on the ship's main hull. This in itself is perfect...

Re: WIP section
The WIP section is a good idea, but the problem is that the forums are a bit.... quiet at the moment. So if too many sections are added, posts could be too spread out. You'd get one or two threads active in every section at the most. Or do you guys think it'd still be better? I can add the section i...

Nice work! Very detailed and easily recognized.
Starting with the roof is a good idea. If you start with the floor and you get a week of rain, all is ruined!

Hahahaha, if the gallery had a preference, it'd let your pictures on without problem
.
I've just tested an upload for 500kb and it works... Not sure why it doesn't accept your picture. You can email it to me if you wish, and I'll try to upload it, maybe it has problems with some files.

Re: Star Trek XI
I agree with the lens flare issue; it's just a bit too much. Like Enzolima, I think they make the scene appear bigger and more intense, but at some stage you cross a line and the effect kills itself. The camera shake.... It's a thing in movies at the moment. Man, for example, I loved the new Battles...

Re: Can't login into the gallery
Weird..... I'm going to investigate. It's hard to trace the problem since it's working fine for me, making it hard to troubleshoot. I'm going to work on it!
