JJ Enterprise Blender Render Problem

I am having some problems. I downloaded the Blender version of the JJ Enterprise from Scifi-meshes.com and was happy to get the new ship to fool around with. However when i try to render it, it seems to get stuck in an endless loop, as it doesnt even star t to render. The render screen stays black . I was wondering if someone with blender could download the mesh and tell me what the problem is.
